Terms of service.
Last updated: October 2026. These terms govern access to and use of lodgingmods.com and the module licences published by Clydebridge Software Ltd ("LodgingMods"). By licensing a module or using the client console you accept these terms.
1. Contract and term
Each module licence is a rolling monthly contract that renews on the calendar month boundary. Either party may terminate at the end of the current calendar month by notice given through the client console or by email to [email protected]. There is no minimum term beyond the current month and no cancellation fee.
2. Scoped credentials
Each module activates against an API credential you (the customer) mint inside your PMS vendor's own console with the narrowest permission set the module requires. You remain the controller of that credential and may revoke it at any time from the same vendor console. We never ask for or store your PMS login.
3. Fees and payment
Fees are billed monthly in advance in GBP under the tier you selected when adding the module to the basket. VAT is added at the UK statutory rate where applicable and shown on the invoice. Payment is by card or bank transfer; late payment interest accrues at the Bank of England base rate plus 2 % after 30 days of invoice age.
4. First supervised run
The first run of any module that writes to your PMS is supervised by the engineer who authored the connector. One supervised cycle is included in the first month at no extra cost. Supervised means an engineer watches the first full operational cycle (rate push, reservation import, email send) and signs off before unattended operation begins.
5. Independence and trademarks
LodgingMods is not a reseller, is not a marketplace, and has no commercial relationship with any PMS vendor named on this site unless expressly disclosed. Trademarks referenced ("Rezlynx", "Guestline", "Mews", etc.) belong to their respective holders. Where a trademark is used, it is used solely for descriptive reference under UK trade mark fair-use principles.
6. Content accuracy
We take care that module descriptions, pricing and comparison references reflect current reality. Vendor offerings change often. Reference pages carry a date of last review. For commercially material decisions, cross-check against your PMS vendor's own documentation.
7. Service availability
We target 99.5 % monthly availability for the module workers and the client console, measured end-to-end from a UK vantage point. Service credits for a confirmed breach of this target are issued automatically on the next invoice at 5 % per 0.1 % of missed availability, up to one full month's fee. Credits are the sole remedy for availability shortfalls.
8. Permitted use
Modules may be used only for the properties for which the licence was purchased. Volume agreements are governed by a separate signed addendum when more than 10 properties are covered. Reselling the module or exposing its endpoints to third parties without prior written permission is prohibited.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LodgingMods' total liability under or in connection with these terms is limited, per rolling 12-month period, to the greater of (a) GBP 500 and (b) the aggregate fees paid by you to LodgingMods during that period. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, special, incidental or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under English or Scottish law.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. The courts of Scotland have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction where that is required for enforcement.
11. Changes
Material changes to these terms are posted on this page with 15 days' notice before they take effect. We also email active customers directly. Continuing to use the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
